What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a form of mental training and practice that teaches a person to bring conscious awareness,
deliberate focus and attention, to one’s mental and physical processes and habits in the present moment. This results in
increased insight and understanding of self, others and the world around us. People are able to move beyond their own
paradigm and perceptions, and see more possibilities with more creativity.
